The Leglas family were renowned for their exquisite quality and the pedigree of this piece stretches back to the world famous Leglas-Maurice workshops, acclaimed throughout Europe and established in Nantes during the early part of the nineteenth century.
If the heady history of this piece isn't enough to whet your appetite, its luscious condition certainly will. Perfectly proportioned, the delicacy and precision in the beautifully turned legs and the quality, simplistic styling makes this a timelessly elegant piece perfect for using as a hall table, occasional table or even a desk.
It does carry some marks of its age and use but this only serves to enhance its charm and authenticity.
