Featuring a rosewood timber frame with hand carved paw feet, this stunning Victorian pole screen from circa 1890 displays a wonderful tapestry protected by a glass cover and was once used to protect the sensitive eyes and faces of nineteenth century Victorians who found the glare from a fireplace a bit too much.
In wonderful condition, the tapestry depicting beautiful Flowers. The glass serves to ensure it remains safe from harsh vapours and anything which might contribute to its untimely decay.
Complete with a certification stamp from the British Antique Dealers' Association confirming that it is definitely over 100 years old, this piece is for lovers of genuine antique Victorian styles.
