Antique Georgian Mahogany Bookcase Cabinet, Circa 1820

A truly stunning piece from 1820's Scotland in absolutely wonderful condition.

This antique Georgian bookcase featuring original glass astragal doors and some beautiful inlaid mahogany, is a lovely tall and grand feature piece. Each of the four, deep and spacious drawers feature dovetail joinery and delicate bone detailing around the locks.

Still very strong and sturdy, and in great condition. There are some signs of cosmetic wear but nothing to worry about, as you would expect from an authentic antique piece that originated from the opposite side of the globe.

A very special piece, this is perfect for your lounge rooms, dining rooms and studies. Display your treasures within – antiquarian books, special statues, clan tartans...

The timeless elegance of the Georgian styling and the undeniable quality in its construction ensures it will suit any décor. It requires a generous wall where it can be displayed in all it's fabulous, two hundred year old glory.
